Mainz is conveniently reached by air via the Frankfurt Rhein-Main Airport (FRA), which is directly connected to destinations all over the world. Local trains take 25 minutes to Mainz. Mainz is also a stop in the German high speed rail network, and several motorways (Autobahnen) allow easy access by car.
